Optimizing your workspace for enhanced productivity
Sometimes when I am working on a task I get easily distracted. I’m sure many of you feel the same way in many instances.
In this day and age, there are so many distractions to keep us away from the important stuff we need to focus on. The cheap entertainment, quick delicious food that can be ordered from an app, tik tok videos, suckable nicotine, and weed that are so convenient it’s almost laughable, and so many more instant dopamine objects at our disposal. How do keep on task when there really are so many things that can grab our attention?
That’s what I'm going to focus on in this post today. Turns out that the environment you work in has a huge impact on productivity and there are different hacks that you can use to maximize workflow and engagement.
Creating an ideal workspace is crucial for maximizing productivity, maintaining good health, and fostering a clear and open mind. In this blog, I’m going to explore various work environments, backed by data and research, to help you design a workspace that promotes your overall well-being and aligns with your professional goals.
There are many things you can do to maximize productivity but specifically, I’m going to be talking about the workspace and environment you are in. I’m going to look at working at a coffee shop, working with a view, working with a low ceiling, working with a high ceiling, working with a standing desk, and working at a desk right by your bed.

Working at a Coffee Shop:
For many people, the ambient noise and bustling atmosphere of a coffee shop can provide a refreshing change of scenery. Research suggests that moderate background noise can enhance creativity and improve focus. Additionally, the aroma of coffee has been shown to boost alertness and cognitive performance. However, be mindful of your work requirements as some tasks may demand a quieter environment. Experiment with different coffee shops and find the level of noise that suits your workflow. I find that putting in headphones with lofi music can definitely optimize my workflow at a coffee shop. Also getting your grind on early can set you up to have a great rest of your day. Working with a View:
A workspace with a pleasant view can have a significant impact on your productivity and well-being. Working with a Low Ceiling:
