Hello Connecters, |
I hope everyone is doing fantastic and enjoying this wonderful gift of life. |
Today I want to discuss something I have been obsessed with for the past couple of years. |
With the rise of the creator economy, social media, covid and everything in between, this lifestyle on the run has developed a considerable following. |
With the internet, mobile phones, and laptops, everything and anywhere is now a reality. |
|
|
Introduction: What does work mean to you? |
How does it feel when you hear the word work? |
Does it make you cringe? |
Does it remind you of waking up early, driving to an office, sitting in traffic, working with people you hate, or working for a boss that doesn’t care about you? |
For most people, this is how the work lifestyle is defined for them. |
A never-ending cycle of unfulfilled promises and working for someone else’s dream, trading your valuable time for a sliver of business earnings. |
The great thing about this day and age is that work doesn’t have to be like how I described above. |
There are so many options, especially with the rise of technology, the internet, and social media, the possibilities are endless. |
Something that I have been highly interested in for the past couple of years is this idea known a digital nomad, a soloprenuer on the run. |
One who doesn’t settle down but rather lives in the shadows, finding beautiful destinations to call his home for the night. |
And then the next month rolls around and it’s a new spot. |
Just IMAGINE a life where every day you wake up in a new beautiful city, you sip your morning coffee on your balcony in Spain or your beach bungalow in Talum, ready to start your work day. |
All you need is your phone, a laptop, and a wifi connection. |
You can build systems, funnels, and automations that make money for you in the background, wherever and whenever you aren’t working, so you can have the time to enjoy the things you actually love. |
Instead of sitting at your computer all day you can go surfing, ride a jet ski, take a hike, hit the gym, watch a show, spend time with family, sit by the pool, make human connections, learn new skills, hit the beach, eat healthy local fruits, meats, and vegetables. |
I mean the possibilities are endless when you are a digital nomad and run your own automated business. |
If that sounds like a dream to you then keep reading… |
Even if not, if you enjoy freedom but want to live at home with your dogs, your family or you just want to be by yourself, keep reading… |

The Allure: The Modern Nomad Lifestyle |
Why would someone want to live this lifestyle? |
Escaping from the norm might sound scary. |
A white picket fence, in a good neighborhood, a nice car, a boat, an okay job might sound impressive to some, but it’s not for everyone. |
In this day and age, there is a way you can escape this life, live in any city, at any moment in time. |
The allure of the nomadic lifestyle is freedom. |
Freedom from time and freedom to make money without a boss, living on your own terms, and making your own schedule. |
Does that sound nice to you? |
Maybe it’s not for everyone but for me, it sounds like a fantastic life. |
Imagine, you wake up on a beach in Mexico, and walk out to your villa, sipping your morning coffee, the smell of the ocean and fresh breeze swooping into your nasal passages. |
You log onto your computer and you see that you have made money as you were asleep. |
You then begin to realize, that society has tricked so many people into thinking that climbing the corporate ladder, building the dream for your boss, and buying the next big house or car is the dream. |
You suddenly have a thought in your head that you don’t need that life anymore. |
You can have a bigger impact on the world by doing your own thing, your own ideas, your own brand, and your own business. |
And the best advantage of all is that you have location and time freedom. |
You have the ability to be anywhere! |
Now that is freedom… In modern society at least… |

|
2. Seamless Travel Planning and Accommodation: |
Flexible Planning: Embrace flexibility in your travel plans. Leave room for spontaneity while having a rough itinerary to ensure a balance between work and exploration. Accommodation Booking: Utilize platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, or even consider short-term rentals for cost-effective and comfortable accommodation options. Co-living and Co-working Spaces: Explore co-living spaces that offer a community of like-minded individuals, and co-working spaces for a conducive work environment.
|
3. Balancing Work/Bussiness and Exploration: |
Time Management: Create a structured work schedule that accommodates different time zones. Prioritize tasks to make the most of your working hours, leaving time for exploration. Work-Life Boundaries: Set clear boundaries between work and leisure to prevent burnout. Avoid overworking and allocate specific hours for both.
|
Remember, the key to successful digital nomadism lies in finding destinations that align with your work requirements/business, personal preferences, and offer opportunities for cultural enrichment. |
With careful planning and adaptability, one can savor the freedom and adventure that the digital nomad lifestyle offers. |
Making Money Online: Working as a Nomad |
The digital era has paved the way for various online avenues to generate income while living a nomadic lifestyle. Here are three diverse ways to make money online as a digital nomad: |

Leverage Your Skills: Tap into an expertise in areas like writing, graphic design, web development, programming, or digital marketing. Freelance Platforms: Join platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, or Fiverr to connect with clients seeking your skills. 2. Remote Work: |
Job Diversity: Explore remote job opportunities in industries like customer service, virtual assistance, project management, and more. Job Boards and Networking: Check remote job boards and professional networking sites to find positions that match your skills and interests. Stable Income: Remote jobs often provide a stable income, allowing anyone to maintain financial security while traveling. Boss: This still requires working for someone else but can be stable and rewarding if you genuinely enjoy what you are doing.
|
3. Online Entrepreneurship: |
E-commerce Store: Start an online store on platforms like Shopify or Etsy, selling products that align with your interests or expertise.
